Welcome to the 2nd Annual American Hero 25K Relay

The 25k Relay is composed of 5 runners Each running 5k (3.1mi ea leg)
5k Solo Run / Walk - one loop through 5k course
25k Solo Run - 5 loops through 5k course
Free 1/4 mi Kids Fun Run, 12 & Under
To Raise scholarships for deadly diseases, blindness, and child abuse
Honor Military, Police/Fire, Teachers, Corporate, Community
When: 27 May  2012, Last Sunday in May each year

The course: Start, handoffs and finish in Alamo Stadium before a live audience, bands and cheerleaders.
Start in Alamo Stadium facing S, run  or walk 3/4 lap in stadium then out the back, of Stadium, R on Tuleta toward the
zoo, L in front of Zoo on to St Mary's Walkway, R on Brackenridge Rd (cross bridge), R on Tuleta, L on Red  Oak (go
about 20 yards), R onto the trail going S along the SA River, cross Red Oak onto the same trail, stay on trail till you get
to Tuleta and go onto Brackenridge, L on St Mary's Walkway, R at Tuleta (Zoo entrance), L into the stadium, R on the
track. All handoffs will be after the start/finish line.  Designated handoff areas will be assigned to each team (marked
A through Z) All hand-offs are in the stadium

Donation: $
39 / Runner / Walker, Other Donations: To see Events: $15 / person. Military & Children under 12 free to see
the events
. Audience and runners/walkers will receive the AH25kRelay Yearbook with teams & runners listed for
tracking during the event,  "Buy One - Get One" free coupons at Spaghetti Warehouse and other restaurants, plus
discount coupons from local stores
43 divisions. T shirts and
Olympic Size Medals to all runners (1st, 2nd, 3rd, & honorable mention)
